ABOUT ERICA
Who was I before starting my business? Well, little old me was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA where I received my undergraduates degree at Moore College of Art & Design for fashion design. After graduating, I relocated to NYC to start my career in the fashion world where I work as an in-house designer for one of the top corporate fashion companies in New York. While fashion may be one of my long time passions, creating paper flowers that bring a smile to people’s faces is what drives me forward.
HOW IT BEGAN
Starting Little Paper Flowers was one of the best decisions I ever made, and it started a few years ago while my husband and I were planning our wedding. We both wanted a wedding that showcased my creative talent and I also wanted to not sneeze my head off due to my lovely flower allergies. I taught myself how to make flowers out of paper and I eventually ended up making roughly 300 stems for our wedding. During this time I received an overwhelming amount of compliments which encouraged me to start my company in early 2016.
